Malabar Rock Pool is an original painting by Australian Artist Rachel Rae. Once returning from Spain to Sydney after taking my daughters to school I would walk my dog around Malabar. I loved walking up the coastline to the golf course walking past the rock pool. Unfortunately there are no dogs allowed and to be honest our dog is not too keen on getting his feet wet. It was the middle of winter but the sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in the sky so we were happy to admire from afar. I love the contrast of the still water in the pool compared with the ocean lapping at the rocks, the different greens and textures in the plants and a bicycle casually leaning against the fence.
